The Staysharp is the knife Wiltshire built its name on. Invented in Melbourne in 1964 and launched nationally in 1970, it features a patented self-sharpening scabbard — the blade is honed every time it is drawn or returned, so it is always ready to cut. Over 8 million have been sold across 37 countries. The range covers individual knives from 9cm to 20cm, scissors, block sets, and the premium Triple Rivet sub-line with a forged triple-riveted handle. Winner of a Prince Philip Prize Certificate of Merit for Australian Design, 1972.
