Colour, made here

SPRINKS is an Australian owned brand built on a simple premise: decorators should not have to import their colour.

The gel colours are mixed and bottled in Australia under HACCP accredited systems and FDA registration, and the edible flavours are made here too. That is unusual in a category where most colour arrives from the United States or Europe in containers, and it means shorter supply lines and formulations tuned to how Australians decorate.

The sprinkle range grew from the same instinct. Rather than stocking whatever a distributor could get, SPRINKS built out the shapes, colours and themed mixes local bakers were asking for, and kept adding until it became the deepest range in the country.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are SPRINKS products suitable for allergy-aware baking?

Gluten free, Halal certified, Kosher certified and vegetarian friendly run across most of the range. Individual products vary, so the certifications are listed per product rather than claimed across the brand.

Are the gel colours made in Australia?

Yes. Mixed and bottled here, under HACCP accredited food safety systems and FDA registration.

What is the difference between nonpareils, jimmies and cachous?

Nonpareils are the tiny hard balls, jimmies the soft rods, cachous the metallic pearls. Jimmies suit mixing into batter, nonpareils and cachous suit finishing.

How should sprinkles be stored?

Airtight, cool and out of direct sunlight. Humidity is what makes them clump and colours run.
