With consistent precision in mine, Acaia has reimagined the Lunar. The Lunar 2021 is fast, responsive, and accurate; incorporating a built-in flow-rate indicator, longer battery life and an updated USB-C connection. With customisable parameters - you can brew your own way!
Features:
- Fast, sensitive, and responsive. Utilising the latest weighing technology, the Lunar stabilises faster during brewing, saving you precious time and creating a smooth workflow.
- The new Flow-Rate Indicator allows you to watch your shot flow rate in real-time, so you can spot the subtle changes in the extraction, understand your shot better, and make adjustments for a perfect espresso.
- Expand your workflow and record your coffee recipes with the customisable espresso workflow parameters. Connect the Lunar scale to our Acaia brewing apps via Bluetooth 4.0 technology. You can also connect to a variety of third-party apps and devices for even more uses.
- The 0.01 g high-resolution option in the Lunar offers you an extra digit of reference for the most accurate espresso weight.
- Built-in espresso modes will automatically start and stop a timer or tare to speed up your preferred workflow. The new Tare Save function allows you to store the tare weight of your preferred dosing container or cup.
- A greener alternative power source, the lithium-ion battery can last up to 30-40 hours. In addition, we have upgraded the charging port to USB Type-C with PD Support, which contributes to longer battery life and protection.
Modes:
- Weighing mode
- Dual display mode - timer and weight display
- Auto tare auto start - timer begins when an item is placed on the scale
- Auto tare - automatically tares item weight for quicker measurements
- The timer starts with flow mode - the timer starts when espresso flow is detected
- Auto tare timer starts with flow mode - automatically tares item weight and the time begins when the first drop of espresso hits the cup
