The Crafter range is Wusthof's most distinctive — traditional blade shapes, natural smoked oak handles, and authentic brass triple rivets that feel like they belong in a heritage workshop. Not minimalist, not modern. Built to look like it was made for someone who cares about how the tool feels in the hand and how it sits on the bench when it's not being used.
This three-piece set covers the two knives most kitchens actually rely on — the 20cm chef's knife for the bulk of the work, and the 9cm paring knife for everything that needs precision — paired with a six-slot block that takes you well beyond the starter setup. The block itself is a small statement piece in its own right, finished in mixed timbers: smoked oak, oak, maple and thermo-beech panels that age handsomely with use. Three slots stay open so you can build the set out over time with steels, shears, or another Crafter blade as your kit grows.
Each knife is fully forged in Solingen from a single piece of Wusthof's chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel, hardened to 58 HRC. Same blade engineering as the Classic range. The difference is the soul of the handle.

Care
- Hand wash only in warm soapy water and dry immediately with a soft cloth
- Never dishwasher safe — heat and detergents will damage the timber handles and edge
- Hone regularly with a honing steel to keep the edge true between uses
- Sharpen only when genuinely dull, using a whetstone, sharpening rod, or pull-through sharpener
- Cut on wood or poly boards — avoid marble, glass, metal, or bamboo
- Store in the included block, out of reach of children
- Wipe the block occasionally with a dry cloth — avoid wetting the timber
