How easy is it to install or change the Whirlpool Fridge Filter?
- Remove the filter by turning anti-clockwise about a quarter of a turn and pulling forward.
- The filter handle is transferred to the new filter, by sliding off, and is refitted by inserting with the handle in the vertical position and rotating clockwise until it stops.
- The filter must be rotated completely, to open an internal valve, allowing water to flow. Note: you do not need to turn off the water tap to remove the filter.
- Reset your "change filter" light (if your fridge has one).
Resetting your "change filter" light:
Press the light switch (the one that the refrigerator door presses every time you close the door) 5 times within 10 seconds.
