Turn daily coffee breaks in to your very own Mad Hatter's tea party, by sipping hot drinks from these fine china can mugs, from the Alice in Wonderland collection, by V&A. These mugs are decorated with a black and white illustrations of the fiery Queen of Hearts and the timid King of Hearts. On the Queen mug, the fearsome character points angrily, while her famous words ‘Off with their heads!’ line on the inside rim. On the second mug, the King looks on, while his phrase ‘Don’t be impertinent’ is featured inside. The designs are inspired by an Alice in Wonderland card game based on artwork by Sir John Tenniel (1820 - 1914). Both mugs are complete with the character’s name written on the back in a beautiful, swirling font. The text and the illustrations are finished with stunning gold detail. And that's not all! Just like Wonderland, these mugs are packed with new surprises at every turn. Finish your drink and you'll see the image of a crown appear in the base of each mug, too. Curioser and curioser…
