Light and small enough to take anywhere, this 10cm (4in) fine diamond stone keeps a keen edge on your knives at home or in the field. Multiple layers of micron-sized monocrystalline diamonds are bonded in nickel to a flat metal plate, mounted on a plastic base with a protective lid. Slot the lid into the bottom of the base and it raises the stone, so your fingers sit well below the edge while you sharpen.
