Use & Care
- Cook on low to medium heat - the ceramic coating distributes heat quickly
- Use silicone or wood untensils to help the coating last longer
- Do not use sharp or metal utensils, do not cut food in the pan
- Use a little high smoke point oil for cooking, avoid spray oils which deteriorate the coating
- Although dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the pan
- Hand wash with a soft sponge, or soft brush and warm soapy water
- Avoid abrasive detergents and harsh scourers such as steel wool
- Allow your cookware to cool down before washing
- Putting a hot pan in cold water can cause thermal shock and warp the pan.
- If carbonisation of oil occurs when overheated, creating a sticky residue on the surface of the pan, clean as follows. Half fill the pan with water and bring to a simmer for a few minutes. Pour out the water and clean the pan with a soft melamine sponge
- For tougher stains and stuck on food spots, simmer a mix of half white vineger and half water in the pan for a few minutes. Wash the warm surface with a melamine sponge.
