This salt mill and its stainless steel mechanism are made in France. The mechanism is specifically suited to dry salt crystals (rock salt). It cannot be used with wet salt. The grind size can be adjusted with the magnificent button on top of the mill. The more the button is screwed, the finer the grind, and vice versa.
