Designed for precision and built for consistency, the Pesado HD Shower Screen ensures even water flow and full puck coverage, helping to reduce channelling and improve extraction quality with every shot.
Standard mesh shower screens often result in uneven saturation due to their limited surface coverage and irregular water dispersion. The HD Shower Screen solves this with 18 carefully engineered channels that distribute water evenly across the entire coffee bed, right to the edge of the basket.
Crafted from high-grade 304 stainless steel, this upgrade is a simple and effective way to enhance your espresso setup.

Installation:
Your existing E61 shower screen won’t have a centre screw like the HD version. To begin, remove your current shower screen and gasket seal, then unscrew the diffusion plate from inside the group head.
This step is simple—just use an M8 Allen key to remove it. Next, install the new HD diffusion plate by screwing it into place. This allows you to attach the HD high diffusion shower screen directly to the plate. After that, insert your new gasket seal and lock it in using your portafilter.
Ensure the HD shower screen is fully screwed in before operating your machine.
Cleaning:
When using the HD espresso shower screen daily, we recommend using a cleaning brush to keep the outer surface and channels clear of coffee grounds.
Once a week, we suggest doing a full clean by unscrewing the shower screen and rinsing both the screen plate and screws under water. This helps prevent buildup and ensures a clean, consistent flow of water with every extraction.
