Setting:
The product is sold in a retail setting, in retail packs of 25, for use (and re-use) predominantly for occasions in the home or other settings. These products are not for sale or use in a commercial take away food service setting and updated packaging will also state this. We respectfully request the customers to join us in continuously improving the environmental footprint of the products, by ensuring they do not on-sell to commercial takeaway food service operations where the products could find their way into the litter stream.
Dishwashability:
the reusable tableware has passed the Mechanical Dishwasher Test (EN 12875-1:2005 ) for 125 dishwasher cycles. The tests were carried out by the international standards company, SGS, and the results can be downloaded from the
Environment page at the bottom of the fourth paragraph.
Marketing:
the reusable tableware has been marketed as ‘Reusable’ and ‘Durable’ for well over 10 years, owing to its strong and superior polypropylene (PP5) characteristics. The packaging now also clearly describes the products reusability and calls out the 125 cycles of Dishwashability.
To assist in educating consumers, the packaging also details where the product sits on the Australian Waste Hierarchy and information about the materials we have chosen to manufacture these products.
