The Vital is Börner's slice-and-marinate mandoline.
Its slice insert carries an integrated marinating roller, so you can slice vegetables and dress them in the same pass and have a finished salad ready in less time. Slice in four thicknesses, from wafer-thin tomato carpaccio to thick casserole cuts, and add the knife inserts for julienne strips, thicker sticks and cubes.
The disc slot doubles as a safety slot on its top level to shield the blades and your fingers during storage. A rubber-coated handle gives a more comfortable, secure grip in use.
