Where the Basic Set slices, the Starter Set adds the 3.5mm and 7mm knife inserts so you can cut fine julienne, thicker sticks and dice, plus a slider box that stores both inserts safely and doubles as a base.
Set your slice thickness, swap inserts with a side-button press, and run your produce across the micro-fine ground stainless steel blades. The V5 dices without pre-slicing the vegetables first, which most slicers cannot do.
