Each capsule holds 7 grams of ground coffee, which is a proper espresso dose rather than the lighter fill most capsule systems use. The aluminium capsule seals the coffee against oxygen, light and moisture, so what comes out tastes freshly ground rather than months old, and the aluminium is fully recyclable.
