The original stovetop espresso maker
Bialetti introduced the Moka Express in 1933 and the eight-sided shape has barely changed since. Water heats in the base, pressure pushes it up through the ground coffee, and rich espresso collects in the top chamber. No pods, no power point, no filters to buy.

Looking after it
