Weck's tall tulip jar arrives ready to preserve, complete with glass lid, rubber seal and two stainless steel clamps. It holds over a litre and tapers from a wide 100mm opening, so large batches go in and come out without a fight. Clear glass shows the contents at a glance. Brimful capacity is 1062ml, with a 950ml working fill for preserving.

Fit the seal between jar and lid, secure with the two clamps, then process. For everyday fridge and pantry storage, a 100mm keep-fresh plastic cover fits the same opening (sold separately). Spare 100mm seals are available in packs of ten.
