Omotenashi Medetai Red Bowls

These ceramic bowls prominently feature the 'Tai' (Sea bream) in a fresh, bright red pattern. Tai are seen as a symbol of good luck, as their name sounds similar to 'Omedetai' (Lucky). Tai is often served on celebratory occasions in Japan, and the pattern on these bowls are a great way to channel that luck for any meal or occasion. Being dishwasher and microwave safe, these are durable and easy to care for. Designed and made in Japan.
