Built for repeated preserving, these Fowlers Vacola Size 3 lids suit Bottle Sizes 14, 20, and 27 and are designed for use with Size 3 rings and clips. Supplied as a 12 pack, they are the stainless steel lid for the smaller and mid-size Fowlers preserving system.
Stainless steel is the better choice for repeated use and for high-acid preserves such as pineapple and pickles. During preserving, the lid is secured over the ring with a clip, and the seal forms as the bottle cools.
