Three long grain bamboo boards in graduating sizes, so there is one for the garlic, one for the vegetables and one for the meat. Keeping them separate is the easiest food safety habit there is.
- 100% bamboo. Naturally hard, so it resists knife marks and wear, and non-porous, so bacteria and odours do not linger. Dense fibres keep water out, and bamboo regrows fast enough to be genuinely renewable.
- Long grain construction. The grain runs along the length of the board, giving a softer surface that is easier on an edge.
- Kinder to your knives. Timber is softer on a blade than glass or stone, so edges stay sharp longer.
- Naturally more hygienic than plastic. Wood has inherent antibacterial properties and does not hold the knife scarring that plastic does.
- Measures 23x15cm 30x22cm 38x30cm. Sized so you can check it against your bench before you buy.
- Finished to show the grain. Treated to bring out the colour and figure of the timber rather than bury it under a coating.
- Hand wash only. Warm soapy water and dry it straight away. Do not soak it and do not put it in the dishwasher.
