Opinel No.06 Stainless Steel Folding Knife Padouk

This Opinel No.06 takes the compact classic up a level with a polished stainless steel blade and a handle in padouk, a dense, fine grained, reddish brown wood from Central Africa. It is happy doing everyday jobs outdoors or around the house, but it is just as much a knife to keep and admire. The Virobloc safety ring locks the blade for safe use and carrying.

Why it works

• Polished martensitic stainless steel blade, 55 to 57 HRC, holds a keen edge and resists corrosion
• Padouk handle with rich colour ranging from purplish brown to pink tones with violet veins
• Varnished handle adds protection against moisture and dirt
• Virobloc safety ring locks the blade both open and closed
• Compact No.06 size slips easily into a pocket
