Rectangular bowls rather than round ones, which is the whole point. A standard measuring spoon won't fit into most spice jars, so you either tip the jar and hope or decant it onto a board first. These are narrow enough to go straight into the jar, right down to the tightest openings, and they're graduated so even the widest at 25mm fits most. Each is pressed from a single piece of thick-gauge 18/8 stainless with smooth polished edges, so there's no join to trap spice and nothing to bend.
