The smallest of the tri-ply bamboo boards. Three layers laid cross-grain so it stays flat, with a juice groove around the edge and a size that suits a small kitchen.
- 100% bamboo. Naturally hard, so it resists knife marks and wear, and non-porous, so bacteria and odours do not linger. Dense fibres keep water out, and bamboo regrows fast enough to be genuinely renewable.
- Juice groove. Catches the run-off from a roast or a ripe tomato instead of letting it reach the bench.
- Kinder to your knives. Timber is softer on a blade than glass or stone, so edges stay sharp longer.
- Naturally more hygienic than plastic. Wood has inherent antibacterial properties and does not hold the knife scarring that plastic does.
- Measures 27x20x1.2cm. Sized so you can check it against your bench before you buy.
- Finished to show the grain. Treated to bring out the colour and figure of the timber rather than bury it under a coating.
- Dishwasher safe. The only boards in the range that are, so it can go in with everything else.
