Every MiiR product has a Give Code printed on it. Register it on MiiR's site and you'll see exactly which giving project your purchase funded — clean water, environment, or community — how much has gone to it, and how many lives it's helped. It's the thing that separates MiiR from every other steel bottle: the giving is trackable and specific, not a vague line on the box. You're buying a well-made product and funding something you can actually look up.

The lids, yes — all MiiR lids are top-rack dishwasher safe. The bottles, tumblers and cups themselves are best hand washed in hot soapy water with a long-handled brush, which protects the powder-coat finish and the vacuum seal over the long run. It only takes a moment, and it's what keeps the colour and insulation performing for years. For stubborn stains inside, a soak of one-part white vinegar to five-parts warm water sorts it — never bleach.

The insulated range uses double-wall vacuum insulation (MiiR's Thermo 3D) that holds temperature for hours — cold drinks stay cold well through the day, hot drinks stay hot for a good stretch. One thing worth knowing before you buy: not every MiiR is insulated. The Narrow Mouth and Everywhere bottles are single-wall or lightweight designs built for carry-weight over temperature, while the Wide Mouth, tumblers and camp cups are the insulated ones. If temperature retention matters, choose an insulated model.

Largely, yes — and it's a genuine feature, not an accident. MiiR designs its lids as a system, so a Wide Mouth bottle can take a straw lid, a flip lid, a chug lid and so on, letting one vessel adapt to how you're drinking that day. When you buy, it's worth checking a lid lists your vessel as compatible, but the whole point of the range is that you can mix and match rather than being locked to the one lid it shipped with.

For a plain "keep water cold" job, a cheap bottle will do.
