The MAC Chef Series Paring Knife 13 cm (TH-50) is a specialised paring knife designed for comfort and efficiency on the cutting board. Its raised handle and taller blade provide knuckle clearance, making it more versatile than a traditional paring knife. The Granton-style dimples reduce friction, letting the blade glide easily through starchy or sticky foods like apples and potatoes. With a gradual taper for smooth rocking action, it delivers precision for smaller fruits, vegetables, and proteins.
13 cm blade length – larger than standard paring knives for greater versatility
Raised handle with knuckle clearance – ideal for cutting board use
Taller blade profile – increases control and balance
Granton edge dimples – reduce sticking for smoother slicing
Gradual heel-to-tip taper – enables rocking cuts for board work
2.0 mm thin blade – sharp, agile, and lightweight at 2.4 oz
Original molybdenum steel – durable, easy to sharpen, and stain-resistant
Made in Japan – engineered with MAC’s signature precision and sharpness
Practical, innovative, and highly versatile, the TH-50 bridges the gap between a paring knife and a small chef’s knife, perfect for precise work on the cutting board.
