Size 4.25 clips fit older Fowlers Vacola bottles — No. 28, No. 39, No. 42, and No. 56. If you're using older bottles and the lid isn't seating properly, the clip size is the first thing to check.
Not sure if this is your size? The current No. 14, No. 20, and No. 31 bottle system uses Size 3 or Size 4 clips instead.
These clips hold the lid firmly during processing while still allowing air to vent. As the bottle cools, the vacuum pulls the lid down and the seal forms. Leave the clips on for 12 to 18 hours after processing, then remove and reuse for your next batch.
Made in Australia from electro-plated spring steel.
