- To prime for heat: add 1-2cm boiling water, rest the lid on top and let the steam warm it for a few minutes (do not screw the lid on while priming)
- To prime for cold: chill in the freezer for 10+ minutes before adding food, or fill with ice, secure the lid briefly, then empty before use
