FMM Sugarcraft has been designing and making cake decorating tools in the UK since 1948, and two of its inventions have become industry standards. Tappits are strips of letters, numbers and shapes that press into thinly rolled paste and tap straight out, giving clean lettering without a piping bag. Press Ice tools mark evenly spaced guides onto a cake for dots, ribbons and drapes, so symmetrical work no longer means measuring by hand. Alongside them sit orchid and rose cutters for sugar flowers, textured lace sets and impression mats, all manufactured in the UK.
