Euroscrubby

Euroscrubby is the work of a small family-run business — Sandpiper Distributing, based in Port Hope, Ontario — built around a single, stubbornly good product: a cotton cleaning cloth that scrubs hard without scratching, and lasts for months or years instead of weeks.

The idea is a quiet rebellion against the disposable sponge. Where a synthetic sponge wears out, harbours odours, and adds to landfill in a matter of weeks, the Euroscrubby is made from cotton with a hardened coating derived from tree resin — abrasive enough for baked-on grime, gentle enough for non-stick and glass, and washable enough to keep going through the dishwasher or washing machine. Made in Europe with environmentally friendly materials, it's reusable, recyclable, and plastic-free.

From that one cloth the range has grown to cover more of the cleaning cupboard — different scrubby sizes, a scrubby-and-sponge set, a streak-free microfibre cloth, and a biodegradable cleansing paste — but the principle hasn't changed: cleaning tools worth keeping, that work harder and waste less.
